We are a B2B Software company headquartered in the Boston area, developing the most unique and patented AI/ML Software to optimize the performance of Battery Systems across a wide range of industries. Initially, we are focusing on deploying our technology in the Automotive sector worldwide, commercial and passenger electric vehicles, with future growth opportunities from other sectors in Aerospace, Robotics, Grids and others.

We are gaining traction with OEM's and their Tier 1 & 2 Suppliers in the Automotive industry. We also are in the last stages of completing a very successful Series A fundraising campaign with participation from one of the major OEM’s in the industry which is a testimonial to our value proposition.

We are looking for an all-star, self-motivated Sales Executive / Manager to build our sales activities in North America. This is a very exciting opportunity for the ambitious candidate who is looking for growth opportunities. In this role you will be expanding and executing on our Go-To-Market strategy growing our sales pipeline and closing business from strategic OEM’s and Partners accounts. This position requires a hands-on and results oriented sales executive reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing. In this position, you will have a major impact in Electra’s growth and future. After proven success, and as the business volume warrants it, you will have the opportunity to hire and manage additional Sales Executives to scale up the business further.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible to promote and sell Electra’s entire product portfolio to select strategic OEM’s and their Tier 1 & 2 Suppliers in North America in order to achieve the company’s revenue goals and your individual sales quota
  • In accordance with the company’s Go-To-Market strategy plans, you will be responsible to identify and target strategic accounts to promote and sell to Electra’s End to End solutions
  • You will be responsible for all the steps in the sales process from identifying the right contacts through purchase order (PO) issuance by your account, and all the steps in between, while involving and deploying the various company functions leveraging their respective expertise
  • You will be required to provide on a regular basis an updated North American sales pipeline forecast .
  • You will work as needed with our Marketing team participating in the company’s marketing programs.
  • Partner across all company functions as required and become the “voice of the customer” internally, to ensure that the product development activity is in sync with the market and are in line with the company’s strategic goals

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5+ years proven experience selling Embedded and/or Cloud based Software Solutions to the Automotive industry
  • List of contacts within strategic and relevant account in the Automotive sector (particularly on electrification)
  • Demonstrated track-record in developing new accounts
  • Consistently met and exceeded sales targets
  • Demonstrated ability to build and grow successful, trusted relationships with customers and selling at all levels of the organization
  • Proven track record working cross-functionally and cross-culturally
  • Proven track record working cross-functionally and cross-culturally
  • MBA Degree or equivalent with an undergraduate degree in Science or Engineering preferred
  • Startup experience preferred, ideally with an exposure to M&A from a large and established corporation
